Opinion of retired massage therapisti’m a retired Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist and have a few thoughts about this stuff…i learned , when in school , extra virgin olive oil is #1 oil for the skin (hair and other things too) but most therapists use almond, grape seed and other ‘thinner stuff’…Extra virgin is very thick but i’ve always used it to the delight of clients…sometimes i’d add various essential oil mixes to the olive but, mostly, just olive….i had one elderly woman client who was spending a bundle to a dermatologist to try to clear up facial skin eruptions to no avail…when she told me that i asked if she had extra virgin olive oil…’yes, some for cooking’…’try it on your face’…’what?’…’just try it’…the blemishes were gone in 2 days…GONE…’BADGER’ has a lot of thick oils…Vitamin E is very thick…….someone mentioned this Badger isn’t warm/hot enough…i found this to be true and it’s because the oils are too thick and hard to work deep deep in the tissue……however:i found a lovely massage oil called ‘NOW SOLUTIONS’…’NOW’s oils are all ‘thin/light’ oils like grape seed……so, i put a shot or 2 of BADGER on my feet rubbing in real good…then, put a few drops, not many, of ‘NOW’ on over the BADGER and YES , WARM/HOT results and you can rub the oils deep in the skin……NOW , also , adds great oils like Lavender, Chamomile, Patchouli, Grape Seed, Apricot, Sweet Almond, Fir Needle, Geranium, Vitamin E (soy)…happy rubbing

It Works!!!I always read all of the reviews before purchasing anything. Most people talked about how it this product helped them with swelling, and only a couple of people mentioned it helped with pain. I suffer from sciatica pain and I’m trying everything in my power to keep from having surgery. I was somewhat reluctant to purchase at first, I figured it was worth a try and the price was right. I’m so glad I did. I’ve been using the oil for five days now. It is really helping me with my pain. I’m not hurting as much, it feels good on my skin and I love the scent. I’m so thankful to have this oil. It does help with pain. Thank God!!!!

This really Works!!!!I had a bad swollen leg and went to the doctor. She said it was bad veins and gave me 1 Water pill per week. Didn’t help much so I looked for something that might help. Found this on Amazon and used it. Took 2 days to get my leg back to normal. Plus is helping my knees. Try This!!! I swear by it~

A Great Oil for Sore Muscles and JointsEssential oils can be expensive, and this blend saves you money by combining ginger and arnica oils with cayenne. It has a lovely scent, kind of like lemongrass and ginger. The bottle describes it as hot, but I have never had problems with it burning my skin. It feels warm as you massage it in, but otherwise there is no burning sensation. Ginger is a very good anti-inflammatory, especially for arthritic joints, and this has helped my arthritis. Also, arnica is excellent for bruised injuries, it will speed the healing. The bottle lasts awhile because the oil has good coverage. A highly recommended massage oil!

Never Too Much Oil For Deep Tissue MassagesI didn’t want to leave four stars, because this deep tissue massage oil is definitely a five star oil. If there was a way to leave 4.98 stars I would because the oil sometimes leaks around the closed cap edges. It never leaks on anything but I can see it on the edges of the cap.As a massage therapist, I find this oil useful for my clients who seem to have trouble allowing their muscles to relax. The aroma of ginger massage oil is pleasant, and reminds myself and clients of true relaxation. The first time I used this product was with a client who suffers from upper crossed syndrome, and after using the deep tissue oil for three session the client and I both saw the results we were seeking.A friend of mine saw the oil and asked where did I get it, and I told her I use Amazon for nearly everything. She ordered her bottle the next day, and also mentioned she was impressed with the resultsThe texture is nice, and I never have to worry about putting too much oil on my hand when applying the deep tissue techniques. I love, love, love this oil and right now I on the search for more amazing, aromatic massage oils from Badger.

AMAZING. My husband does a lot of hard physical …AMAZING. My husband does a lot of hard physical labour, and, as a result, he gets pretty sore and his muscles get knots like crazy. I have small hands, and he has thick muscles, which usually results in me pushing really hard until he can even feel a regular massage. I used some of this oil and was able to push only about 1/3 as much and it wound up warming his muscles and relaxing him. Also, it smells like lemon Pez.

Wonderful oil and very therapeutic!I absolutely love this oil. It smells wonderful, but I guess that depends on people’s taste and I use if for massage in any areas I feel pain or just for relaxation. It works wonders for me but it does burn after a while so you need to use with caution and also remember to wash hands properly after use part you touch will burn. However, it is not unbearable and it does subside in 15 minutes.

Deep tissue oil on a budget! As a massage therapist I use Young Living oils and products. This badger oil is the only “store bought” or “online shop” product that I will make an exception on and it’s because of the cayenne pepper in it! This oil is not gritty or sticky and is not only great for muscles but it’s also good for the skin and pumping the lymphatic system. I even use it personally by massaging the low abdomen for digestive support so that I don’t have to take chemical laden and toxic store bought supplements. I’m all about true organic and plant based health! One bottle of this lasts me about 6-8 months before I need to order more. Per massage I can put three small pumps in my hand and do one whole side of the body before reapplying to do the other side! That’s bang for my buck right there!!

Little too thick for Gua Sha, maybe hand massage. Wonderful customer service.I used this product for gua sha and found the product is a little thicker than I expected so it’s not as slippery as compared with say jojoba or olive oil. I had to put quiet a lot on in order for the gua sha plate to glide without stretching the skin. For hand massage, this may give just the right about of slip. But I give this a 5 star due to the wonderful and prompt customer service.

Great scentThis stuff has the best scent! I wish it came in a spray so I could use it as room spay. Works great for a massage oil! A little pricey, but I would buy it again.
